The scope comes with a dovetail bar attached to the underside of the tube by means of six screws fitting to three blocks at the bottom of the tube. The dovetail bar is Losmandy fitting and has a saddle plate to attach it to a losmandy mount. The EQ6 is Vixen fitting so I have attached a suitable dovetail plate to the supplied saddle plate using two nuts and bolts, this was the Vixen dovetail plate supplied with the EQ6. BTW yes there's a dink in the tube it was supplied like this but I got a good discount! |
